Simon Constance leads Orion’s HR Outsourcing practice, and is an expert in other areas of infrastructure. He has implemented shared-services and outsourcing solutions (helping to shape some of the largest deals recently done in Europe). He’s also designed Centres of Expertise for specialist areas including resourcing, learning, reward and leadership – across both private and public sectors.
Simon started his career at Accenture before holding senior HR and operational management positions at the National Offender Management Service, Tate and Lyle Sugars and Transport for London. As a consultant he’s worked in manufacturing, FMCG, telecommunications, retail, transport and distribution, professional services and the public sector.
Simon has a degree in Economic and Social History from Liverpool University, a Masters in Human Resource Management, and is a graduate member of the CIPD. He is a regular writer and speaker on the subject of HR transformation and has conducted a number of research studies including ‘Changing HR Career Paths’ and ‘Shared Services in Eastern Europe’.
