James Bennett

James Bennett leads Orion’s talent technology solutions business and associated Alliances. He has in-depth experience of software businesses, the software lifecycle and the delivery of technology and services to maximise an organisation’s ROI having lead Oracle’s £ Multimillion UK and Northern European HCM business from 2004 to 2010. He has a detailed understanding of Software businesses (outsourced, on-premise and SaaS) not only from leading them but also from integrating them, having taken a leading role in Oracle’s integration of PeopleSoft in 2005 and Global Knowledge Software in 2009.

Immediately before joining Orion, James was leading Oracle’s User Adoption Team across EMEA. Prior to that he worked for other Software, Services and Outsource businesses including MDIS (now Northgate ARINSO) and Nat West Centrefile (now Ceridian).

James holds a deep passion for acquiring, developing and aligning talented people in his businesses. He brings over 20 years’ experience of the tough, practical, day-to-day management of talent and performance in multimillion-pound businesses within major Enterprise. It is with these years of Senior Management experience that he actively champions the continuous development and enablement of Line Managers so that they can then develop and harness talent in their teams, thereby delivering both employee engagement and performance.
