Developing strategic HRBP’s
The 2007 Human Resource Competency Study (HCRS) identified six competencies required for the HR function to be fully strategic.  Of these six, the study concluded that the ‘Credible Activist’ was the most important.

These findings supported earlier research conducted by Orion Partners into the attributes a successful HR Business Partner should possess. However other research by Orion Partners into the way HR people spend their time revealed that 50% of respondents spent less than a third of their time focused on strategic work, while only 21% spent more than 60% delivering strategy.

To help Linklaters’ London HR team step up to these challenges, Orion Partners provided a development programme focused on increasing their strategic contribution.
